Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority based on the bank's clearing date of your cheque or credit card payment. - If entering a team, your minimum sponsorship amount should be equal to, or greater than, that of the number of team members, (for an eight-member team, including team leader, the minimum is HK$5,040). To guarantee your/your team's involvement in this year's Moonwalkers event, please consider registering and paying the minimum donation amount as early as possible and asking for your friends to sponsor you later.
- If applications are oversubscribed before the deadline, ORBIS will immediately stop accepting applications without further notice. ORBIS reserves the right to reject applicants who fail to pay the minimum sponsorship and will return all unacceptable application forms and donations accordingly.
- The donation amount counted as of 5:00pm on November 1, 2012 will be treated as the final figure for entry into the Top Fundraising Award contest.
- ORBIS will mail individual participants/team leaders their confirmation packs (including event details and registration cards) between October 29 and November 7, 2012. Team leaders will be responsible for distributing the confirmation packs to their teammates.
- All Moonwalkers must present a registration card when entering the venue. If you have not received your/your team's registration card(s) by Thursday, November 8, 2012, please contact us directly. We regret that walk-in registration will NOT be allowed on the night of the event.
- The online fundraising webpage will continue to accept donations until Wednesday, December 5, 2012. If there is any extra donation, please refer to the Donation/Sponsorship Form or Registration FAQ uploaded to the Moonwalkers' official website.
- Donation receipts will be sent to participants & sponsors between March 1 and 31, 2013. For details, please refer to the Donation / Sponsorship Form or Registration FAQ uploaded o the Moonwalkers' official website.
- Donations will NOT be refunded should the event be cancelled due to bad weather or under any other circumstances.
- ORBIS reserves the right of final acceptance of applications and to change the event's details without prior notice.


- You and your sponsor(s) should pay your donation(s) online by credit card. To avoid duplication, please DO NOT mail or fax an enrolment form after registering online.
- Once your online application is approved, you/you and your team members will receive an email with login information for the Moonwalkers fundraising website. Through the website, you can check and update your registration and sponsorship details. You can also make use of our unique "invite friends to sponsor" fundraising button to add to your sponsorship total by sending emails to potential sponsors.
- We respectfully suggest an individual applicant or team leader submits the minimum sponsorship first in order to secure your/your team's place. You can then submit your sponsor list and donation receipts details later.
- Team participants may select either Registration Pass or Guaranteed Pass:
- Registration pass: Allows your team leader to register first and then pay the minimum total donation before the deadline (before 5:00pm on Thursday October 4, 2012). NO places will be guaranteed until the total minimum donation has been settled.
- Guaranteed pass: Allows your team leader to immediately secure places for all team members by instant credit card on-line payment of the minimum total donation.
- Registration pass: Allows your team leader to register first and then pay the minimum total donation before the deadline (before 5:00pm on Thursday October 4, 2012). NO places will be guaranteed until the total minimum donation has been settled.
- If applications are oversubscribed before the deadline, ORBIS will immediately stop accepting applications and additional team members without further notice. ORBIS reserves the right to reject online applicants who fail to pay the minimum sponsorship online without further notice. Please note that unsuccessful applicants' donations WILL NOT be refunded.
- Successful online applicants will receive emails confirming their places between October 9 and 12, 2012. But the email cannot replace the registration card which must be represented for admission on that night. Please refer to the item 5 and 6 of the General Rules of Registration Remarks.



1. Are there any age restrictions for Moonwalkers 2012?
- The event is open to everyone except youngsters aged under 16 because of security issues.
- Since Moonwalkers starts at midnight and runs until dawn, we regret we are unable to care for those with disabilities. Ultimately, participants take part at their own risk.
- YES. The same application deadline applies to both Form and Online Registration. If either participation quota is full before this deadline, we will stop accepting applications immediately without prior notice.
- NO. Walk-in registration will NOT be allowed on the night of November 10.
- Because of safety issues related to venue space limitations, road width, flow control, Hong Kong laws and other conditions, etc.
- Donation amounts will be counted as of 5:00 p.m. on Thursday November 1. In the team category, only the grand total of funds raised will be counted.
- ORBIS will mail event details and registration card packs to all individual participants and team leaders between October 29 and November 7, 2012. Your team leader must then distribute registration cards to his/her teammates. ALL participants must present their registration cards when entering the venue on Saturday, November 10. If you do not receive your registration cards by Thursday, November 8, please call us on 2595 0263.
- All participants' registration cards can be transferred to another person in advance of the event without the need to inform us. Absentee's donation will not be refunded but it will be counted into the total donation of his/her team.
- YES. If making an additional sponsorship or donation, please complete and fax or mail us a Donation/Sponsorship Form after ticking the "submit additional donation/sponsorship" box. To avoid duplication, please do not mail the form to us after faxing. Online registrants and their sponsor(s) may still make credit card donations online via the Moonwalkers fundraising webpage. Please DO NOT submit any extra donations to us on the night of the event.

1. How to do online registration?
- Enter the ORBIS Moowalkers' official website: www.orbis.org.hk/moonwalkers and submit personal information and do online payment under instruction.
- The ORBIS Moonwalkers fundraising webpage is a fundraising management system that greatly simplifies online application and registration. After submitting your personal details and participant category, you will receive a private login ID and password. The system also allows you and your sponsors to pay online and check and update your registration and sponsorship details via credit card. You can also use our unique "Invite Friends to Sponsor" fundraising button to boost your sponsorship tally by emailing potential sponsors.
- You / you and your team members will receive an email enclosed with a private login ID and password the next working day. The system allows you and your sponsors to pay online, check and update your registration and sponsorship details. You can also make use of our unique "Invite Friends to Sponsor" fundraising button to add to your sponsorship total by sending emails to potential sponsors. - The Sponsorship Invitation email has included a unique hyperlink (with the your login ID) to the Moonwalkers Donation webpage, through which your sponsors are requested to donate via credit card online, and you could also check your sponsorship status by visiting the Moonwalkers Fundraising webpage.
- We suggest you make online donation via your credit card on behalf of your sponsor(s). You can enter sponsor name(s) at the Moonwalkers Fundraising webpage when you make online donation or submit their details afterwards. (Please also refer to Question 24 – 26). Sponsor's donation receipt will be sent to you for distribution.

- Team fundraising amounts are the total of the sponsorship amounts raised by all team members. For teams with eight members (including the team leader), the minimum fundraising amount is HK$5,040 (i.e. HK$630 each).
- After you have submitted your team members' details, the system will send all your designated team members email notifications with a private login ID and password on the next working day. If your team members cannot or do not receive this email, please call us on 2595 0263 during office hours.Team members can use their private login ID and password to enter the Moonwalkers Fundraising webpage. The system allows participant and his/her sponsor(s) pay online via credit card, check and update registration and sponsorship details. Team members can also make use of our unique "Invite Friends to Sponsor" fundraising button to add to their sponsorship total by sending emails to potential sponsors.
- Team member can login the Moonwalkers Fundraising webpage and enter the mailing address(es). (Please also see the Question 24 – 26)
- YES, but only team leaders may change the number of members in their team. To do so, please use your private login ID and password to enter the Moonwalkers Fundraising webpage: http://www.orbis.org.hk/moonwalkers/applicantlogin。 , click the "Personal profile / Team member information / Team member information" button. Please note that (1) if the places are full, increase the number of team members will not be accepted. (2) while deleted team members' contributions WILL NOT be refunded, they will still count towards your team's total fundraising amount.

- NO. Applications are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to the date on which your bank clears your cheque or credit card payment.
- NO. Should applications be over-subscribed before the application deadline, we will immediately stop accepting applications without further notice and contact you for returning your forms and cheques as soon as possible.
- YES. We respectfully suggest individual participants and team leaders submit their minimum sponsorship fee first in order to ensure participation. You can then submit your sponsor list and donation receipt details later by ticking the box "Submit sponsor list only" on the Donation/Sponsorship Form To avoid duplication, please do not fill the payment method.
- When your cheque or credit card payment has been confirmed by your bank – this normally takes around 14 working days.
